Logo - DiamondBack Automotive AccessoriesDiamondBack Automotive Accessories, Inc (“Diamondback”) has recalled an estimated 6,816 model year certain DiamondBack HD and SE Three-Panel Hard Tonneau Truck Bed Covers produced between March 28, 2018 and March 1, 2019. If the front panel section is not properly secured and locked, the front portion of the cover assembly could lift and separate from the truck bed while the vehicle is being driven.

According to the NHTSA, if the cover separates from the truck bed, it could be a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

DiamondBack will notify registered owners and will send owners a kit including cab-panel tether and a redesigned safety catch that secures the cover to the frame, free of Charge. The recall is expected to begin in April 2019.
