Renée's Gourmet Foods Vinaigrette Recall [Canada]Canada/Ottawa: Renée’s Gourmet Foods Inc., a division of Kraft Heinz Canada, a Toronto, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Tangerine & Lime Vinaigrette due to undeclared Mustard, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Vinaigrette Salad Dressing products are subject to this recall:

  • Renée’s Gourmet branded Tangerine & Lime Vinaigrette Salad Dressing, sold in 350 ml bottles with a best-before date code of 2019 AU 31 and a UPC of 0 62287 56005 9

According to the CFIA, Renée’s Gourmet Foods has recalled certain batch/lots of Tangerine & Lime Vinaigrette from the Canadian marketplace due to undeclared Mustard. You should neither serve nor consume this product if you or your family is allergic to Mustard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Vinaigrette Salad Dressing products and could be allergic to their Mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to handle Anaphylaxis.
