US FlagUS/Washington: Bulk Unlimited Corp., of Brooklyn, New York recalls an estimated 3,000 Little Experimenter Children’s Globes due to suspected electrical short and consequential risk of fire, burns and property damage, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Little Experimenter Children’s 3-in-1 World Globes.

The recalled Globes show the countries in different colors, the oceans in blue and black text for each country, capitals, deserts and ocean names. Each has an orange base with two white buttons that light up the globe and display a projection of stars and constellations in color-changing motion. The brand, “Little Experimenter” is printed on the base of the Globe with a date code of 102018-107 is printed on a sticker on the battery compartment cover and on the product packaging right below the UPC/barcode.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the recalled Globe’s internal wires can short out and overheat. These apparent defects pose fire and burn hazards. Bulk Unlimited has received two (2) reports of the globe overheating with one igniting. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Children’s Globes, please do not use them or let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly unplug the Globe immediately from the AC power and return contact Bulk Unlimited Corp. for a replacement Glabe.
