Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Target Australia Pty Ltd , a Williams Landing, Melbourne, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Target Stick Blender Wands due to suspected overheating and consequential risks of melting, electric shock and property damage, all serious health and safety hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Stick Blender Wands are subject to this recall:

  • Target Stick Blender Wands, sold in white with a silver-coloured mixing rod, a model number of TARHB40S and a Target SKU of 55000727

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Target Stick Blender Wands may overheat during use and cause the plastic enclosure to melt, and expose live electrical parts.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Stick Blender Wands, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
