Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Chloe Layla and Co, an Australian establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of BIBS branded Baby Dummies / Pacifiers due to suspected failure to comply with Australia’s mandatory standard Consumer Goods (Babies Dummies and Dummy Chains) Safety Standard 2017 by providing the required the safety notice or hygienic care instructions and consequential risk of strangulation, all serious health and safety hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following BIBS branded Baby Dummies / Pacifiers are subject to this recall:

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Baby Dummies do not comply with the Australian mandatory standard ‘Consumer Goods (Babies Dummies and Dummy Chains) Safety Standard 2017’ because the warning label, instructions for use including dummy hygienic care, and manufacturer and/or distribution contact information were not included on product packaging. In addition, the cord or ribbon attached to the Dummies may pose a strangulation hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled BIBS Baby Dummies / Pacifiers please do not use them nor let your child play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
