The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Millet Based Porridge products are subject to recall:

  • Ghana Taste Tom Brown Millet Based Porridge, sold in 400 gram boxes with a batch/lot of YFOO04072017TB; affected production dates: all date codes

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Jumbo UK has recalled all current batch/lots of Ghana Taste Tom Brown Millet Based Porridge products because they may contain Peanuts, an ingredient not mentioned on the ingredient label. This means the Porridge product is a health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Peanuts.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Porridge products and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
