The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Cookies are subject to this recall:

  • Hipster Chipster Cookies, as of the date of this recall notification known to be sold only at the Whole Foods Market Store located at 1181 Yulupa Ave, Santa Rosa, California, in six-pack packages with sell-by date codes up to and including 02/04/19 with a UPC of 0247449 006990.

According to the FDA, one (1) allergic reaction has been reported to date. This recall was initiated when a customer experienced an allergic reaction and notified the Food and Drug Administration.

==> For information about Egg Allergy, Milk Allergy or Lactose Intolerance, or Nut Allergy (including Peanuts and Tree Nuts such as Walnuts), please consult the “Allergens & Intolerances” tab at the top of this page.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Cookies and could be allergic to their Egg, Milk and/or Walnut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
