The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Pita Chip Snack Foods are subject to this recall:

  • Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips, sold in 7-1/3 ounce black bags with a use-by date code of 23 APR 2019 and a nine-character manufacturing code of 65M127902, listed below the use-by date and a UPC of 028400564632. The recalled Chips were distributed US nationwide.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, Frito-Lay has recalled certain batch/lots of 7-1/3 ounce bags of Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips due to undeclared Milk ingredients.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Pita Chip Snack Foods and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Pita Chip Snack Foods, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Snack Foods to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
