Canada/Ottawa: Logo - CannTrustCannTrust, a Vaughan, Ontario establishment, recalls batch/lot F344 of CannTrust Liiv Cannabis Oil due to suspected mislabeling and consequential inclusion of a different Cannabis product with potential for over dosage, all potential serious health and safety hazards.

Additional information:
Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Cannabis Oil products are subject to this recall:

  • CannTrust Liiv THC Cannabis Oil, sold in 20 mL (18.8 gram) bottles with a batch/lot designation of F344

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, the outside box may be incorrectly labelled as “Liiv CBD Cannabis Oil” with corresponding CBD potency information. The actual bottles of the product are correctly labelled as THC Cannabis Oil. The product was sold as THC Cannabis Oil.

To date, neither CannTrust nor Health Canada has received any complaints related to the recalled lot. Neither Health Canada nor CannTrust has received any adverse reaction reports for the recalled cannabis product.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Cannabis Oil products, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any drug, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
