Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: BIBS Baby Dummy Recall [Australia]3 Little Birds, an Australia establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of BIBS branded Baby Dummies / Pacifiers due to suspected failure to comply with Australia’s mandatory standard Consumer Goods (Babies Dummies and Dummy Chains) Safety Standard 2017 as Warning label and instructions were not included on product packaging. and consequential risk of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion and GI tract laceration damage, all serious health and safety hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following BIBS branded Baby Dummies / Pacifiers are subject to this recall:

  • BIBS Baby Dummies / Pacifiers, sold in many colours

According to the ACCC, n o warning and directions provided to customers. A torn or broken Dummy may pose a choking hazard to children and a cord or ribbon attached to a dummy may pose a strangulation hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled BIBS branded Baby Dummies / Pacifiers, please do not use them nor let your child play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
