The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following True Organic: Australian Organic Feta Marinated in Oil With Garlic and Herbs are subject to this recall:

  • True Organic: Australian Organic Feta Marinated in Oil with Garlic and Herbs, sold in 280 gram jars and one (1) kilogram bulk pails with a best-before date of 20 DEC 19

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Organic Feta Marinated in Oil can be found on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, Organic Feta marinated in Oil products containing a date code 20 DEC 19 may lose their quality and become unfit for consumption after 20 DEC 18.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Organic Feta Marinated in Oil, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
