According to the FDA, Hy-Vee has recalled the above-identified Cheesecake products made with Diamond Crystal Brands Cheesecake Mix due to the potential that they may be contaminated with Salmonella. The potential for contamination was brought to Hy-Vee’s attention by its primary supplier for the Cheesecake Mix. This recall includes thirty two (32) varieties of Cheesecakes in both 8-ounce and 32-ounce packages with best-if-used-by dates ranging from December 6, 2018 through January 11, 2019.

The Diamond Crystal Brands Cheesecake Mix was distributed to 117 of Hy-Vee’s 249 grocery stores across its eight-state region of Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The Cheesecake products come in a plastic container with a plastic lid.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Cheesecake products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Cheesecakes to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
