The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following XZL Mini Jelly Cup products are subject to this recall:

  • TANG The Asian Food Emporium, a Melbourne, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of XZL Mini Jelly Cup products

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Jelly Cup products can be found on the Web site listed above.

According to the ACCC, Jelly Cups and similar products containing Konjac are permanently banned in Australia due to choking risk.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled XZL Mini Jelly Cups please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
