Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain IKEA GLIVARP Extendable Dining Tables, sold in white.

The recalled Dining Tables have four (4) steel legs and a glass table top with an extension that can be pulled out to the side and measure approximately 29 inches tall by 49 inches long. The glass Table Top Extension measures approximately 25 inches long. A supplier number of “12003” can be found printed on a sticker on the underside of the Table’s frame while the model, “GLIVARP” and IKEA logo are also printed on the sticker.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the Table’s Glass Extension Leaf can detach and fall unexpectedly, posing laceration and general injury hazards to those nearby. IKEA USA has received three (3) reports of the Table’s Glass Extension Leaf detaching and falling unexpectedly, one (1) of which included a minor injury where no medical attention was needed. As of the date of the original recall notification, there had been no injuries reported in Canada by IKEA Canada.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled IKEA GLIVARP Extendable Dining Tables, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund or replacement Table.
