US FlagUS/Washington: VThree Dishes Simple Dishes branded Meal Recall [US]alley Fine Foods, a Forest City, North Carolina establishment, recalls approximately 35,516 pounds of Heat-Treated, Not Fully Cooked Three Bridges branded Meat and Poultry Meal products that may be adulterated due to presence of spoilage organisms and consequential risk of bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications that have rendered the Meals unwholesome and unfit for human food, all serious health hazards.

The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following prepared Meat and Poultry Meals products are subject to this recall:

  • Three Bridges branded Chicken Penne Alfredo, sold in 12-ounce trays with a case code of 19034, a case UPC of 1-07-42753-34709-0 and best-if-used-by dates ranging from 10/09/18 to 11/25/18 and a unit UPC of 7-42753-34709-3
  • Three Bridges branded Chicken Primavera, sold in 12-ounce trays with a case code of 19033, a case UPC of 1-07-42753-34708-3 and best-if-used-by dates ranging from 10/09/18 to 11/25/18 and a unit UPC of 7-42753-34708-6
  • Three Bridges branded Italian Sausage Ziti, sold in 12-ounce trays with a case code of 19035, a case UPC of 1-07-42753-34711-3 and best-if-used-by dates ranging from 10/09/18 to 11/25/18 and a unit UPC of 7-42753-34711-6
  • Three Bridges branded Rigatoni with Meatballs and a Mushroom Cream Sauce, sold in 12-ounce trays with a case code of 19036, a case UPC of 1-07-42753-34710-6 and best-if-used-by dates ranging from 10/09/18 to 11/25/18 and a unit UPC of 7-42753-34710-9

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the products subject to recall bear the establishment number “P-22102B” or “M-22102B” on the side of the product package. These items were shipped retail locations in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and North Carolina.

The problem was discovered on October 4, 2018 by the establishment’s research and development department during routine internal testing. The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) was notified on October 10, 2018.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Three Bridges branded Meals, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
