The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the ready-to-eat Meat and Poultry Deli-Sliced products were made and packaged on dates ranging from September 14, 2018 to October 3, 2018, as follows (in alphabetical order):

  • Combo Wrap Turkey & Bacon, Chicken Ceasar, Buffalo Style Chicken & Veg, sold in 4.8 pound clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Roasted Turkey and Bacon Wrap 4-count Trays, sold in 5.03 pound clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Angus Roast Beef & Cheddar Pinwheels, sold in 9.25 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Black Forest Ham & Provolone Pinwheels, sold in 9.25 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Buffalo-Style Chicken Wraps, sold in 13.5 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Chef Salads, sold in 12.6 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Honey Turkey & Honey Ham Pinwheel Trays, sold in 43 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Italian Style Pinwheels, sold in 8.1 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Meat & Cheese Trays, sold in 42.5 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/19/18 to 10/08/18
  • Ukrop’s Roasted Turkey & Colby Jack Pinwheels, sold in 9.75 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18
  • Ukrop’s Roasted Turkey & Bacon Wraps, sold in 9.95 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/1
  • Ukrop’s Turkey & Bacon Cobb Wraps, sold in 13.5 ounce clear plastic rectangular containers with sell-by dates ranging from 9/17/18 to 10/06/18

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Deli products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST.19979” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were known to have been shipped to retail locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

The problem was discovered on October 4, 2018, when the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) received notification from the establishment that they had received and processed products implicated from Johnston County Hams, a primary ingredient supplier to in Ukrop’s, an earlier USDA recall with a designation of FSIS Recall 084-2018. If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled ready-to-eat Meat and Poultry Deli-Sliced products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the Deli products to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
