The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Electric Kettles are subject to this recall:

  • Stirling 1.7L Electric Kettles, consisting of open-handled electric kettles in various colours and sold with an ALDI PLU of 58848, 60039, 60040, 60041, 56361, 56362, 56363, 58091, 58092 or 58093

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Kettle’s handle may become loose or separate from the body of the Kettle. If there is hot or boiling water in the Kettle at the time, there is a risk of serious scalding, burns or other life-changing injuries.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Electric Kettles, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
