Market of Choice Sesame Noodle Salad Recall [US]

US/Silver Spring: Market of Choice, a Eugene, Oregon establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Gourmet Take Away Sesame Noodle Salads Vegan due to suspected risk of undeclared Egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Sesame Noodle Salads are subject to this recall:

• Gourmet Take Away Sesame Noodle Salads Vegan, sold in 8-ounce and 16-ounce containers at Market of Choice stores located in Ashland, Eugene, Bend, Corvallis, Portland and West Linn in Oregon between July 30, 2018 through September 7, 2018. The 8-ounce Salads have a UPC of 0211630203994 while the 16-ounce Salads have a UPC of 0 211637 807492. Both Salad products have sell-by dates ranging from 8/4/18 to 9/13/18.

According to the FDA, this recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing Egg was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of this ingredient.

Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
