According to the USDA, the Pork Egg Rolls subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 13219” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

The problem was discovered after the firm received two (2) consumer complaints stating that a thin thread of plastic was found in the Egg Roll products.

In general, if plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.
