Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Quesadilla products are subject to this recall:

  • Sweet Earth Aloha BBQ Quesadillas, sold in eight (8) ounce packages with a batch/lot number of 8149, a best-by date of 6/28/19 and a UPC of 016741000551

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Quesadilla products can be found on the Web site above.

According to the FDA, the Quesadilla product being recalled has a “Sweet Earth Aloha BBQ Quesadilla” exterior packaging but actually contains another product from the same manufacturer, specifically, the Sweet Earth Mile High Quesadilla product packaged in clear plastic wrapper that reads “MILE HIGH”.

The ingredient statement on the exterior package applies to the Aloha BBQ Quesadilla product is correct for the product that should be inside the box but since the Quesadilla product inside the box is actually the Sweet Earth Mile High Quesadilla product, the exterior ingredients list fails to correctly identify Eggs and Milk, two ingredients in the Sweet Earth Mile High Quesadillas.
