US FlagUS/Washington: CloudCharge Wireless Charging Pad Recall [US]Hirsch Gift, a Houston, Texas establishment, recalls an estimated 21,000 CloudCharge Qi Wireless Charging Pads due to suspected overheating and consequential risk of fire, burns and property damage, all serious health and safety hazards.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain  CloudCharge Qi Wireless Charging Pads.

The recalled Wireless Charging Pads were a promotional giveaway to employees and customers of various third-party companies. The product name and model number, T4706, are printed on the bottom of the Charging Pads and select company promotional logos and artwork printed on the top.

The recalled Charging Pads are circular and have a white plastic bottom with the top having various promotional artwork. They measure approximately four (4) inches in diameter and one-half (0.5) inches tall.

A white USB power cable is included along with a wireless receiver adapter. Each charging pad and accessories are packed in a white plastic box with a clear lid, measuring approximately five (5) by five (5) by one-and-a-quarter (1.25) inches. This recall involves only one production batch/lot, known as Version 2, of the Wireless Charging Pads.

According to the CPSC, the Wireless Phone Charging Pads can overheat while in use, posing a burn and fire hazard. The firm has received seven (7) reports of the Phone Chargers overheating. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Wireless Phone Charging Pads, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Hirsch Gift for a free replacement.
