The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Goldfish Crackers are subject to this recall:

  • Pepperidge Farm branded Goldfish Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar Crackers Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar
  • Pepperidge Farm branded Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion
  • Pepperidge Farm branded Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
  • Pepperidge Farm branded Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, Pepperidge Farm was notified by one of its ingredient suppliers that Whey Powder in a seasoning that is applied to four (4) varieties of Crackers has been the subject of a recall by the Whey Powder manufacturer due to the potential presence of Salmonella.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Goldfish Crackers, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the crackers to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
