Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Wooden Toys are subject to this recall:

  • Jungle Train Wooden Railway Sets with Jack ‘N’ Jill, consisting of 14 pieces – 8 pieces of railway track, (one) 1 train engine plus three (3) animal train carriages, one (1) ABC matching puzzle track and one (1) bead maze rainbow track with an age range of 18+ months.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this Train Set Toy is not compliant with Australia’s mandatory standard ‘Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003 — Consumer Product Safety Standard: Toys for children up to and including 36 months of age’.

In general, if plastic, wooded or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Wooden Train Sets, please do not use them nor let your child play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
