Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Oceanic and Hollis Air Regulators for Scuba Diving. The metal Air Regulators attach to the scuba tank valve and controls the pressure of the air that a diver breathes while under water.

The serial number is laser etched on the First Stage body but the part numbers and UPCs are printed on the packaging only. The list of recalled Air Regulators is as follows (in alphabetical order):

  • Hollis DC3 First Stage
  • Hollis DC7 First Stage
  • Hollis DCX First Stage
  • Oceanic CDX First Stage
  • Oceanic EDX First Stage
  • Oceanic FDX10 First Stage
  • Oceanic FDXi First Stage

According to the CPSC, the Scuba Diving Air Regulators can restrict airflow at low tank pressures below 500 psi, posing a drowning hazard to divers.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Scuba Diving Air Regulators, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact an authorized Oceanic or Hollis dealer for a free repair.
