The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Potato products are subject to recall:

  • Harvest Basket branded Filled Potato Croquettes – Spinach & Mozzarella, sold in 600 gram plastic bags; affected batch/lot and/or date codes: all best-before dates are affected by this recall.
  • Harvest Basket branded Filled Potato Croquettes – Cream Cheese & Herbs sold in 600 gram plastic bags; affected batch/lot and/or date codes: all best-before dates are affected by this recall.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional images of the recalled Filled Potato Croquettes can be found on the Web site above.

According to the FSA, Lidl Ireland has recalled the above two (2) varieties of Harvest Basket branded Filled Potato Croquettes because they contain Milk, an ingredient not written in English in the ingredients list as required by regulation. The recalled Potato products were sold in Lidl Stores in Northern Ireland.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Filled Potato Croquettes and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
