According to Health Canada, drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear (i.e., jackets) can become caught on playground equipment, fences or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Children’s Jackets, please do not use them nor let your child wear or play with or near them. Instead, kindly contact Trésart Caché by e-mail at for a full refund.

==> In the meantime, parents and/or other caregivers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the child’s garment to eliminate the hazard and recognize there may be other garments in your child’s wardrobe that represent similar design hazards and require similar modification. Periodically take the time to look for similar hazards in other clothing items used by your child and/or with which your child may come into contact at school, through friends or relatives.

Please note: the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
