The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Jerk Curry products are subject to recall:

  • BOL branded Caribbean Jerk Curry, sold in 345 gram tubs with a use-by code of 5 May 2018

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FSA, this product contains Barley and Milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Barley or Gluten and/or an allergy or intolerance to Milk or Milk constituents.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Jerk Curry products and could be allergic to their Barley and/or Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
