The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Pork products are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

  • K&K Foodliner branded Chorizo (Hot), sold in variable size packages; affected dates: all products with packed-on date codes ranging from 2018.MR.02 to 2018.AL.13, inclusive with a UPC that starts with 0 205553
  • K&K Foodliner branded German Bratwurst, sold in variable size packages; affected dates: all products with packed-on date codes ranging from 2018.MR.02 to 2018.AL.13, inclusive with a UPC that starts with 0 205509
  • K&K Foodliner branded K&K Breakfast Sausage, sold in variable size packages; affected dates: all products with packed-on date codes ranging from 2018.MR.02 to 2018.AL.13, inclusive with a UPC that starts with 0 205512

According to the CFIA, this recall was initiated by the E. coli O157:H7 foodborne outbreak investigation led by Alberta Health Services (“AHS”) and supported by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Raw Pork products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
