Additional information:
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Seafood Dumpling products are subject to this recall:

  • Liao Bu De branded Fish and Shrimp Dumplings, sold in 230 gram predominantly green cello packaging; affected batch/lots: all batch/lot codes where Egg is not declared on the product label with a UPC of 6 953640 000623

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, Legend Q Trading Inc. has recalled certain batch/lots of Liao Bu De brand Fish and Shrimp Dumplings from the Canadian marketplace because they may contain Egg, an ingredient not declared on the label. If you have an allergy to Egg, you should neither consume nor serve the recalled Seafood Dumpling products identified above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Seafood Dumplings and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
