US FlagUS/Silver Spring: NutriZone Supplement Recall Update [US]NutriZone, LLC a Houston, Texas, establishment, updates its existing recall for one batch/lots of Pain Out branded Nutritional Supplements to correct erroneous batch/lot information previously released for its NutriZone Paint Out Maeng Da Nutritional Supplements. Consumers who have purchased the products should verify the bottle’s lot number.

The original recall initiated for this and other Nutritional Supplements was due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risk of bacterial infection and illness, all serious health hazards. FDA:

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Nutritional Supplements are subject to this recall (in alphabetic order):

  • Pain Out branded Maeng Da Supplements, sold in 36-capsule pouches with a batch/lot designation of 10959. Previously, NutriZone reported the batch/lot designation for this recalled Supplement was 10957 when in fact, it has been updated to reflect the correct batch/lot designation of 10959.

In addition, the following Nutritional Supplements were recalled in an earlier notification due to suspected Salmonella contamination:

  • Nirvanio branded Green Malay Supplements, sold in 25-capsule bottles with a batch/lot designation of 10958-C
  • Nirvanio Special Reserve Kratom Blend, sold in 50-capsule bottles with a batch/lot designation of 10796
  • Pain Out branded Malay Supplements, sold in 324-capsule bottles with a batch/lot designation of 10958-I
  • Pain Out branded Thai Supplements, sold in 108-capsule bottles with a batch/lot designation of 10960-D

According to the FDA, the recalled Nirvanio and Pain Out branded Nutritional Supplements were sold in California, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Nutritional Supplements, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Supplements to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
