Lidl Favorina Dip Egg Recall [UK]

UK/London: Lidl, a Wimbledon, London establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Favorina Dip Eggs due to suspected failure to list ingredients in English and consequential undeclared Milk and possibly additional ingredients, all known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Foods are subject to recall:

• Favorina Dip Eggs – Cocoa Crème flavor, sold in 144 gram (4 by 36 gram) packages with a best-before date designation of 30.07.2018 and a batch/lot code of L1506A7LP. Allergens suspected: Milk; may contain: Cereals that contain Gluten, Egg, Nuts, Peanut and Soya
• Favorina Dip Eggs – Milk Crème​ flavor, sold in 144 gram (4 by 36 gram) packages with a best-before date designation of 30.07.2018 and a batch/lot code of L1506A7LP. Allergens suspected: Milk; may contain: Cereals that contain Gluten, Egg, Nuts, Peanut and Soya

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Lidl has recalled two (2) varieties of Favorina Dip Eggs because they contain Milk and may contain other allergens that are not are not listed in English, as is required by regulation.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Favorina Dip Egg and could be allergic to their or Milk and possibly, other allergens ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or have previously experienced Anaphylaxis, unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
