The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Energy Bars are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

  • Diabetic flavor Chocolate Berry Crunch flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Almond ingredients.
  • Fit Organic Peanut Butter Chocolate Raspberry flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004431. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Almond ingredients.
  • Focus 4 Kids Sunflower Seed Chocolate Strawberry flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004080. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Almond and Peanut ingredients.
  • Focus Chocolate Peanut flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004172. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Almond ingredients.
  • Golf Chocolate Almond flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004004. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Golf Cocoa Raspberry flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004028. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Heal Chocolate Peanut flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004394. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Almond ingredients.
  • Man Chocolate Almond flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004141. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Run Chocolate Almond flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004042. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Run Dark Cocoa Raspberry flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004127. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Trim Chocolate Almond flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004230. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Trim Dark Cocoa Raspberry flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004231. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.
  • Woman Dark Chocolate Berry flavor Energy Bars, all current batch/lots with a use-by date designation ranging from June 21, 2017 through July 18, 2018 with a UPC of 855529004189. These Energy Bars are suspected of containing undeclared Peanut ingredients.

According to the FDA, the recalled Energy Bars identified above were distributed through Whole Foods Market Stores in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and through Kroger Stores in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. They were also distributed nationwide through the company’s Web site at http://www.ebars.com.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Energy Bars and could be allergic to their Almond Nuts and/or Peanuts ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
