The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Beef Jerky products are subject to this recall:

 

  • Beef Jerky Store Beef Jerky Original Crispy, sold in 3-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • Beef Jerky Store Beef Jerky Original Crispy, sold in 6-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • Beef Jerky Store Beef Jerky Teriyaki, sold in 3-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • Beef Jerky Store Beef Jerky Teriyaki, sold in 6-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • California Jerky Factory Crispy Beef Jerky Original, sold in 1.5-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • California Jerky Factory Crispy Beef Jerky Original, sold in 3-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • California Jerky Factory Crispy Beef Jerky Original, sold in 7-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • California Jerky Factory Crispy Beef Jerky Teriyaki, sold in 1.5-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • California Jerky Factory Crispy Beef Jerky Teriyaki, sold in 3-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • California Jerky Factory Crispy Beef Jerky Teriyaki, sold in 7-ounce packages with expiry dates of 120418, 120518 and 010219.
  • Eurasia Delight Beef Jerky Du Du Bo Kho, sold in 10-pound packages with an expiry date of 010219.
  • Vua Kho Bo Beef Jerky Du Du Bo Kho, sold in 10-pound packages with an expiry date of 010219.
  • Vua Kho Bo Beef Jerky Lemon Gras, sold in 10-pound packages with an expiry date of 010219.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Beef Jerky can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the Beef Jerky products subject to recall were produced and packaged on December 4, 2017, December 5, 2017, January 2, 2018 and January 24, 2018 and bear the establishment number “Est. 18995” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were sent to retail locations in California, Hawaii and Nevada and were also offered for Web sales.

The problem was discovered by US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) personnel while performing a food safety assessment at the establishment.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Beef Jerky, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
