Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Electric Toasters are subject to this recall:

  • Two-Slice Stainless Steel Toasters, sold with a model number TL-136

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Toasters are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, some of the recalled Roasters have a faulty switch, causing the heating element to remain electrically live when the lever is up and the Toaster appears to be turned off. If this defect occurs, there is a risk of electric shock if the user makes contact with the heating element.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Toasters, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
