The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Glazed Walnuts are subject to this recall:

  • Emerald brand Glazed Walnuts sold in 6.5-ounce plastic pouches with a package production code batch/lot of EN1216XX2, a best-before date code of 15 DEC 2018 and a UPC of 0 1030080894 7

According to the FDA, Snyder’s Lance, a Charlotte, North Carolina establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Emerald brand Glazed Walnuts due to undeclared Almond Nuts, Cashew Nuts, Peanuts and Pecan Nuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to any of these ingredients, including Peanuts, should avoid consuming this product due to the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.

Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
