Canada/Ottawa: Canadian Food Inspectation igiWoodhaven Enterprises Ltd., a Moncton, New Brunswick establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Danny’s Pizza branded Pizza and Garlic Fingers due to undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Pizza and Garlic Fingers are subject to this recall:

  • Danny’s Pizza branded Garlic Fingers, sold in 850 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all codes where Milk is not declared on the label and a UPC of 7 73417 00800 5
  • Danny’s Pizza branded 12″ Pizza and Garlic Fingers, sold in 925 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all codes where Milk is not declared on the label and a UPC of 7 73417 00900 2

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, Woodhaven Enterprises Ltd. has recalled certain batch/lots of Danny’s Pizza brand Pizza and Garlic Fingers due to undeclared Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Pizzas and/or Garlic Fingers and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
