EU issues 40 Product, Toy & Vehicle Recalls

Among the 40 the European Union has announced in its third report of February 2018 the following notification was made:

Filip Kid’s Fashion Duks Jakna Children’s “Hoodie” Jackets, sold with a model number of 13799 and a barcode/UPC of 8606018595921.

The type of hazards presented in these recalled Hoodies include the suspected presence of drawstrings with free ends in the hood. The reported hazard in these Hoodie Jackets is that the drawstrings may become trapped during various play and other activities of a child, leading to strangulation, entrapment and serious injury.

These Hoodie Jackets, therefore, do not comply with the requirements of European regulation EN 14682. as they can cause serious injury to wearers.

==> Please do not use these recalled Filip Kid’s Fashion Duks Jakna Children’s “Hoodie” Jackets, dress your child in them or let them play with or near them. Instead, return them to the store or online outlet from which you purchased it for a full refund.
