Toys “R” Us SmarTrike 700 Smartfold Trike Recall [Australia]

Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Children Convertable Trikes are subject to this recall:

  • SmarTrike 700 Smartfold, 8-in-1 Folding Trike designed to grow with babies from six (6) months and sold with a model designation of SKN 42132)

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APN or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, when the product is folded into the 6 months+ mode it does not comply with Australia’s mandatory standard ‘Trade Practices Act 1974 – Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007 – Consumer Product Safety Standard: Prams and Strollers’.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Children’s Trikes, please do not use them nor let your child play with them nor access them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
