Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Frozen Dessert products are subject to this recall:

  • Organic Coconut Milk Ice Cream, Strawberry Choc-Chip flavoured, sold in 500 mL paper tubs and shrink-wrap tamper evident sleeve with a best-before date code of 04/09/2019 and an on-sale date from 11/09/2017
  • Organic Coconut Milk Ice Cream, Strawberry Choc-Chip flavoured, sold in 500 mL paper tubs and shrink-wrap tamper evident sleeve with a best-before date code of 23/10/2019 and an on-sale date from 30/10/2017

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this recall was initiated due to the presence of undeclared Cashew Nuts, Hazelnuts, Pecan Nuts and Pistachio Nuts. If you have an allergy or intolerance to any of these Nuts you should not consume the Frozen Dessert products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Frozen Dessert products and could be allergic to their Nut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
