Among the 28 recalls the European Union has announced in its first report of January 2018, the following notification was made:

H brand Lead Acid Battery Charger Recall [EU]H brand Lead Acid Battery Charger, sold with a model number of HW888 and a barcode/UPC of 2050003444460. The type of hazard presented in these recalled Battery Chargers include the finding that the product’s electrical insulation is inadequate.

Specifically, due to the reported defect, accessible parts of the electrical appliance can become live and create electrical shock, fire and/or burn hazards.

As such, these Battery Charging products do not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

==> Do not use these Battery Charging products or store them in a place where they could be used. Instead, return the Hand Cream to the store or online outlet from which you purchased it for a full refund.
