Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Polaris model year 2018 RZR XP 4 Turbo Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (“ROVs”) with seating for four (4) people.

On the recalled Vehicles, the brand, “POLARIS” is printed on the front grill, the model designations “DOHC TURBO” and “EPS” on the front fenders, the identifier, “POLARIS RZR XP” on the rear fenders, while “POLARIS” is printed on both the bottom edge of the passenger compartment and on the rear light assembly. The Vehicle Identification Number (“VIN”) is printed on the right rear frame of the vehicle. The ROVs were sold in the following configuration/colors:

  • Polaris RZR XP 4 TURBO EPS 168 Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles, sold in Velocity Blue with a model year of 2018 and a model number of Z18VFE92BB
  • Polaris RZR XP 4 TURBO EPS 168 Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles, sold in Matte Sunset Red with a model year of 2018 and a model number of Z18VFE92BS
  • Polaris RZR XP 4 TURBO EPS 168 Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles, sold in Ghost Gray with a model year of 2018 and a model number of Z18VFE92BU

According to the CPSC, the return fuel line in the recalled ROVs can be improperly secured which can cause fuel to leak, posing a fire hazard. Polaris has received one (1) report of a fire resulting from an improperly installed return fuel line. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles, please do not operate them. Instead, kindly contact an authorized Polaris dealer for a free inspection and repair, as necessary. Polaris is also contacting all known (i.e., registered) purchasers directly.
