The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Biscuits are subject to this recall:

  • HT Traders Mama Biscotti Mini Biscotti – Triple Chocolate, sold with a UPC of 7203670827

According to the FDA, Harris Teeter has notifying 153 known shoppers who purchased HT Traders Mama Biscotti Mini Biscotti – Triple Chocolate since December 8, 2017. The company’s supplier, Mom’s Best Gourmet Foods, Inc., has issued a recall due to undeclared Almond Nuts and Hazelnuts.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Biscotti Biscuits and could be allergic to their Almond Nuts and Hazelnuts ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
