EU issues 40 Product, Toy & Vehicle Recalls

Among the 40 recalls the European Union has announced in its second report of December 2017, the following notification was made:

European Union Recalls - Report 50/2017HESS branded Baby Soother Holders, sold with a product designation of Nr. 13699 and a barcode/UPC of 4016977136990.

The type of hazards presented in these recalled Baby Soother Holders include inadequate ventilation holes in the device and consequential risk of suffocation. Specifically, a child may put the Soother Holder in the mouth and if it gets stuck, could lead to suffocation.

As such, these Baby Soother Holders do not comply with the requirements of European Standard EN 12586 and have consequently been ordered withdrawn from the marketplace.

==> Do not use these Baby Soother Holders, let your child use them or store them in a place where your child can access them. Instead, return the Soother Holders to the store or online outlet from which you purchased it for a full refund.
