Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Inflatable Pool Toys are subject to this recall:

  • Crane Sports Jumbo Novelty Inflatables shaped like a Flying Horse (“Pegasus”) or a Flamingo. Both products were sold with a UPC/barcode of 26283937, a PLU of 55380 and a date code of 10/2017

ALDI LogoPlease consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Inflatable Pool Toys can be found on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, the product labelling is not in accordance with the Consumer Protection Notice No. 2 of 2009 ‘Consumer Product Safety Standard for Flotation Toys and Aquatic Toys’. The products are missing the following warning: WARNING. AQUATIC TOY. USE ONLY UNDER SUPERVISION. If children are not supervised while using the products, there is an increased risk of drowning.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Inflatable Pool Toys, please do not use them nor let your children play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the ALDI store where you purchased it for a full refund.
