According to the ACCC, in some circumstances the faceplate of the recalled AC Plug Head Adaptors may separate from the body of the electrical device when unplugging the AC transformer from the power socket, exposing live parts. If this defect occurs, it could result in an electric shock to anyone who is in contact with the device or those in the close proximity.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Targus AC Plug Head Adaptors, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: you should not attempt to unplug the AC transformer for the Dock120AUZ without switching off the power to the transformer at the power source (i.e., the electrical panel or fuse box). If you are not certain that the power has been switched off, please seek qualified help to confirm the power is off and to remove the transformer safely.

Always use appropriate personal protective equipment (“PPE”) when working with electrical fixtures, including gloves and protective eyewear. Ensure all circuits are turned off at the panel before working with any electrical appliance or lighting fixture.
