The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken and Pork products are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

  • Chuleta De Cerdo Corte Centro Canada, Center Cut Pork Chops, sold in 2.29-pound packages with a best-by/use-by date of 10/31/2018.
  • Frozen Pork Loins, sold in random-weight cartons each containing four (4) plastic-wrapped Loins and marked with a case code of Cert. 828131/Canada 80.
  • Frozen Pork Loins, sold in random-weight cartons each containing four (4) plastic-wrapped Loins and marked with a case code of Cert. 828132/Canada 80.
  • Frozen Pork Loins, sold in random-weight cartons, each containing four (4) plastic-wrapped Loins.
  • Harvest Creek Chicken Franks, sold in 12-ounce vacuum-packed packages containing ten (10) franks with a best-by/use-by date of 12/07/2017 with a batch/lot code of 93023.
  • Harvest Creek Chicken Franks, sold in 12-ounce vacuum-packed packages containing ten (10) franks with a best-by/use-by date of 12/10/2017 with a batch/lot code of 93023.
  • Olymel Plus Imported Pork Shoulder Picnic and Ham, sold in 48-pound cases containing eight, six (6)-pound logs with a batch/lot code of 71160.
  • Polean Fully Cooked Imported Ham, sold in 24-pound cases containing two (2), twelve (12)-pound logs with a batch/lot code of 727025.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, these items were shipped to retail, hotel, restaurant and institutional locations in Puerto Rico. The problem after US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) personnel were performing routine import verification activities.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Chicken and Pork, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
