The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Sauces are subject to recall:

  • Mary Berry’s Horseradish Sauce, sold in 160 gram jars with brown and white label, a batch/lot of L7264 and a best-before date of Sept 2018

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, RH Amar recalls certain batch/lots of Mary Berry’s Horseradish Sauce due to undeclared Sulphur Dioxide and/or Sulphites.

==> For information about undeclared Sulphur Dioxide and/or Sulphite Allergy, please consult the “Allergens & Intolerances” tab at the top of this page.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Sauces and could be allergic to their Sulphur Dioxide and/or Sulphite ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
