The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Salads are subject to this recall:

  • Taylor Farms American Style Pasta Salads sold in 9.75-ounce plastic bowls with a use-by 11/01/17 and case code of TFFLD 295 L5 EA.
  • Taylor Farms American Style Pasta Salads sold in 9.75-ounce plastic bowls with a use-by 11/02/17 and case code of TFFLD 296 L5 JP.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Salads can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the Salads products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 44818” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Florida.

The problem was discovered on October 26, 2017, when Taylor Farms Florida received a consumer complaint about the taste of the salad Dressing. After conducting an internal investigation, the firm determined that the products incorrectly contained Caesar Salad dressing instead of Bacon Ranch Salad Dressing. The Caesar Salad Dressing contains anchovies.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Salads and could be allergic to their Anchovy Fish ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
