According to the ACCC, this Pen exceeds the maximum allowable magnetic flux index for small, high-powered magnets, as set by Australia’s permanent ban on such products prescribed in Consumer Protection Notice Number 5 of 2012. If a child swallows more than one small high-powered magnet, the magnets can stick together across the walls of the child’s intestine or other digestive tissue, which can lead to internal injuries and even death. These magnets may need emergency surgical intervention to remove.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Pens, please do not use them nor let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
