The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Seasonal Toys are subject to this recall:

  • Halloween LED Pumpkin Spinning Wands, sold with a keycode of 60508690, a SKU of 60508690 and a barcode/UPC of 9350533853491

Please consult the photograph above for details of the toy’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the battery compartment cover of the recalled Wand Toy may be opened, exposing the button batteries inside. If young children gain access to these button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Halloween Wands, please do not use them or let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Small “button” batteries pose special ingestion risks to small children. Devices using them in the home or school should be closely examined and monitored for any breakage or other unintended access that could allow these batteries to be swallowed or otherwise ingested.
